On October 2, 2024, a delegation from the Thuongmai University (TMU), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang - President of the University, embarked on a visit to the University of Western Australia (UWA) in Perth, Australia.

Building upon the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in October 2023 and the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the joint-training business and commerce program launched in January 2024, UWA and TMU have elevated their partnership to a comprehensive strategic partnership through the establishment of theResearch Seed Fund, witnessed by the Vietnamese Consulate General in Perth.

During the visit, leaders from both universities agreed to discuss plans for a full-fledged and micro-campus program of UWA at TMU.

In the afternoon, the delegation visited UWA Business School and discussed about developing advanced curricula aligned with international standards and the AACSB accreditation. They also explored ways that leverage learning management systems (LMS) and digital interfaces enhance student learning and assist faculty managing. Further collaborations in doctoral programs, student and faculty exchange, and other potential areas are also discussed.

The TMU delegation's visit not only solidified the existing relationship but also opened up many new opportunities for future cooperation between the two institutions.
